Dharmendra Says Salman Khan Could Play Him in a Biopic, Calls Him ‘Like My Son’

Mumbai: Legendary Bollywood actor Dharmendra revealed in past interviews that if a biopic were ever made about his life, he would want superstar Salman Khan to play his role, describing the younger actor as “like my son.”
Clips from two different interviews, circulating on social media, highlight Dharmendra’s candid reflections on his life and choices. In a 2007 interview, he spoke about quitting alcohol eight years prior, admitting it was a difficult struggle but a decision that changed his life. He noted that alcohol had negatively affected his appearance, thinking, and overall strength, and expressed regret over ever touching it.
In another viral clip from a 2015 interview, Dharmendra specifically mentioned Salman Khan, saying, “He is like my son. He has my qualities. If a film is ever made on my life, no one can portray my character better than Salman Khan. His personality is similar to mine.”
