Adiala Jail Officials Deny Rumors About PTI Founder Imran Khan’s Health
Islamabad/Rawalpindi: Officials at Adiala Jail have dismissed circulating rumors about PTI founder Imran Khan’s health as baseless.
According to private TV channel Dunya News, Adiala Jail authorities confirmed that Imran Khan is currently in the jail and is in complete good health. They emphasized that there is no truth to the circulating claims regarding his condition and that his health is being fully taken care of.
The PTI had earlier strongly reacted to these rumors, stating that malicious reports about their leader’s health were being spread by Afghan and Indian media. The party demanded that the government and Ministry of Interior immediately refute these false claims and facilitate prompt meetings between Imran Khan and his family.
PTI spokesperson Sheikh Waqas Akram also called for a transparent official statement regarding the health and safety of the party founder and urged authorities to investigate those spreading false information. He added that the nation would not tolerate any ambiguity regarding the well-being of its leader.
