KP Chief Minister Sohail Afridi Vows to Visit Adiala Jail Every Thursday Until Meeting Imran Khan

Peshawar — Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has announced that he will visit Adiala Jail every Thursday until he is allowed to meet Pakistan Tehreek‑e‑Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan.

Addressing a PTI rally in Peshawar, Afridi said that certain elements do not want the rule of the Constitution and law to prevail in the country, adding that Imran Khan is “unjustly imprisoned.”

He reaffirmed that PTI’s struggle will remain within the constitutional and legal framework, stating, “We will remain peaceful, but we will not allow anyone to deprive us of our rights.”

Afridi declared that he would continue visiting Adiala Jail weekly until he is granted a meeting with the party founder. He added that PTI workers will stay within the bounds of the law and will not give anyone an excuse to use force against them.
