Fifteen Baby Animals Born at Karachi Safari Park in Major Wildlife Boost

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) — Karachi Safari Park has witnessed a significant increase in its wildlife population with the birth of **15 baby animals**, including horses, Sindh ibex, chital, mouflon, blackbuck, and other species.
According to Express News, the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) has termed the birth of these animals a highly encouraging development, calling it an important milestone in efforts to provide a healthier, safer, and more sustainable habitat for wildlife within the park.
A veterinary team conducted detailed medical examinations of all the newborns and declared them completely healthy. Special care arrangements have also been made by the park administration to ensure their proper upbringing.
KMC spokesperson Daniyal Siyal said that Karachi Mayor **Barrister Murtaza Wahab** has directed relevant departments to ensure enhanced care and a sustainable environment for the newborn animals.
Expressing delight over the development, Mayor Wahab said, “I am pleased to announce the birth of 15 wild animals at Safari Park. Their arrival not only enhances the beauty and biodiversity of the park but also proves that the environment here is healthy and conducive for wildlife.”
He added that these efforts reflect the city administration’s commitment to wildlife conservation and ecological improvement. To celebrate this occasion, Mayor Wahab has announced a naming ceremony and an official celebration for the newborns.
“ We must celebrate the arrival of these little guests to show our affection and care. Wildlife deserves respect and protection just as humans do, and this event symbolizes our dedication to their well-being,” he said.
According to the KMC spokesperson, the latest births include:
* 1 Mouflon
* 4 Sindh Ibex
* 4 Blackbuck
* 2 Chital (deer)
* 1 Horse
* 2 Fallow Deer
* 1 White Fallow Deer
KMC reaffirmed its commitment to further improving Safari Park’s facilities, expanding breeding programs, and developing an environment that meets global standards to support flourishing wildlife populations.
