Zelensky Signals Willingness to Pursue Trump’s Peace Plan, Urges Europe to Maintain Support

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has responded to the U.S.-proposed peace initiative aimed at ending the war with Russia, saying he is willing to move forward with the plan put forth by President Donald Trump.

In a recent statement, Zelensky said Ukraine is prepared to work with Washington on the peace proposal, though “several contentious points” will need further discussion with the United States and European allies.

According to a British news agency, Zelensky also urged European leaders to establish a clear framework for deploying a reassurance force in Ukraine. He stressed that Europe must continue supporting Kyiv until Moscow demonstrates a genuine desire to end the conflict.

The U.S. president has given Ukraine a **November 27 deadline** to accept the peace agreement.

Russia, for its part, has expressed support for the American peace plan. President Vladimir Putin has warned that if Ukraine rejects the proposed deal, Moscow may seize additional territory.
