Balochistan Govt to Invest All Mineral Resources in Education, Health, and Development: Mir Zahoor Balidi

Quetta (Daily Qudrat) – Balochistan’s Provincial Minister for Planning and Development, Mir Zahoor Balidi, stated on social media that the provincial government is making every effort to increase resources and revenue for the welfare and development of the people of Balochistan.
Speaking about the Reko Diq project, he said that the previous assembly and government secured a 25% share in the project and assured that all resources, including mineral wealth, would be utilized for education, healthcare, and infrastructure development.
Mir Zahoor Balidi urged political leaders to focus on the effective use of resources and revenue generation, rather than relying on slow progress or maintaining the status quo. He emphasized that the provincial government intends to manage its resources more efficiently than the national governments of 1997 and 2013.
He further noted that researchers are well aware of the benefits that the people of Balochistan gained from the 1997 agreements, and expressed confidence that the current government will ensure better utilization of resources through effective measures.
