Balochistan Assembly Calls for Monitoring Mechanism to Ensure Effective Implementation of Resolutions

**Quetta:** The Balochistan Assembly has approved a significant resolution to establish a **monitoring mechanism** aimed at ensuring effective implementation of resolutions passed for public welfare. The joint resolution was presented by **Salma Kakar**, member of the Women Parliamentary Caucus, along with **Deputy Speaker Ghazala Gola** and other assembly members.
The resolution highlighted that many resolutions passed by the Assembly remain largely unimplemented. It urged the government to create a mechanism to **track progress across all departments** and remove obstacles hindering execution.
The Speaker clarified that resolutions serve as recommendations; however, **Provincial Minister Mir Shoaib Nasirwani** emphasized that it is the government’s responsibility to respond and suggested forming a committee to oversee the process effectively.
The resolution reflects the Assembly’s commitment to improving accountability and ensuring that legislative measures translate into tangible benefits for the people of Balochistan.
