Ishaq Dar Meets German Foreign Minister, Expresses Satisfaction Over Positive Bilateral Relations

BRUSSELS: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar met with German Foreign Minister Johanna Wanka in Brussels to discuss the strengthening of Pakistan-Germany relations.

According to a Foreign Office spokesperson, both leaders expressed satisfaction over the positive trajectory of bilateral ties. They reiterated their commitment to enhancing cooperation in defense, political, economic, trade, investment, and educational sectors.

The two foreign ministers also exchanged views on regional and global issues and agreed to continue collaborative efforts.

Deputy Prime Minister Dar appreciated Germany’s assistance of €114 million to Pakistan, which focuses on environmental protection, energy transition, sustainable economic growth, vocational training, and social protection.

Dar also extended an invitation to the German leadership to visit Pakistan.
