Bureaucracy Must Wake Up to Pull Balochistan Out of Crises: Mir Rehmat Saleh Baloch

ISLAMABAD: National Party senior leader and Deputy Parliamentary Leader in the Balochistan Assembly, Mir Rehmat Saleh Baloch, has termed the victory of the *Star Panel* in the Secretariat Officers Association elections a positive development, congratulating newly elected President Amir Hamza and the entire cabinet.
He said Balochistan is currently grappling with severe challenges, including inflation, unemployment, water scarcity, deteriorating roads, inadequate health and education facilities, and administrative weaknesses. In such circumstances, the selection of an active, responsible and professional leadership within government institutions is of great importance, as the bureaucracy plays a crucial role in resolving provincial crises.
Mir Rehmat Saleh Baloch said the Secretariat Officers Association holds a central position in government decision-making, file processing, addressing public complaints, and managing development projects. The success of the Star Panel, he added, brings hope that mismanagement, delays, and unnecessary bureaucratic hurdles within the secretariat will be reduced, directly benefiting the resolution of public issues.
He stressed that the people of Balochistan have long suffered from deprivation, making it essential for government officers to fulfill their responsibilities with honesty, ensure transparency and accountability, and promote a citizen-friendly governance model.
The National Party leader expressed confidence that Amir Hamza and his team will work for the welfare of officers, efficient use of administrative machinery, timely file processing, improved service delivery, and quick resolution of public problems. He said a stronger secretariat means a stronger Balochistan, expressing hope that the new leadership will use its integrity and experience to lay the foundation for meaningful change in the province.
