Mohsin Abbas Says Moving to Karachi Shaped His Career, Regrets Not Spending More Time With Parents

KARACHI: Renowned television actor Mohsin Abbas has said that had he not migrated from Faisalabad to Karachi, he would not have achieved his current position in the entertainment industry. He added that he has been living in Karachi for 20 years and considers the city his second home.

Speaking on a private TV morning show, Mohsin Abbas said one truly understands the value of parents only after they are gone. “Today, when both my hands are empty and I carry the weight of orphanhood, it becomes unbearable,” he expressed emotionally.

Reflecting on his early days in Karachi, he said he arrived in the city completely alone, but that loneliness brought him closer to God. “I began to see and feel God in a different way,” he added.

Mohsin Abbas shared his regret that due to work commitments and relocating to Karachi, he could not spend enough time with his parents in their old age. “Your real home is where your parents are,” he said, expressing deep remorse over the lost time.
