Saudi Crown Prince Expresses Conditional Interest in Abraham Accords

Washington: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has stated that Saudi Arabia is willing to join the Abraham Accords, but its participation is contingent on a clear and viable two-state solution between Israel and Palestine being established first.

Speaking with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House, the Crown Prince emphasized, “We seek peace, but a peace that is fair for both Palestinians and Israelis. We are eager to be part of this agreement, but the future solution must be fully defined beforehand. We want Palestinians and Israelis to coexist peacefully in the region.” He added that further discussions with the United States on this matter will continue.

During the talks, Prince Mohammed also addressed the issue of Iran, stating that Saudi Arabia is ready to provide any support for a potential agreement between the U.S. and Iran, which would not only enhance regional stability but also benefit Iran’s future.

President Trump remarked that Iran is eager to reach an agreement with the U.S., and Washington is open-minded and prepared to engage. He called the potential deal a “positive step” and noted that, under favorable conditions, such an agreement could have been achieved even before conflicts escalated.
