KP Chief Minister Responds to Viral Video, Assumes Responsibility for Ailing Child Zainab’s Treatment; Surgery Expected Today

Peshawar (Qudrat Daily) — Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi took immediate notice of a viral social media video featuring young Zainab, a child suffering from a heart ailment. The Chief Minister personally contacted Zainab via phone and sent a vehicle to bring her and her family to his office.

According to reports, little Zainab innocently complained to the Chief Minister, saying, *“I am sick, but you never asked about me!”* Her heartfelt words moved the Chief Minister, who warmly apologized and assured her that the government stands by her at every step.

CM Afridi directed that Zainab be provided urgent medical care at the Fauji Foundation Hospital and took full responsibility for all expenses related to her treatment. Officials have confirmed that her surgery is expected to take place today.

Prayers are being offered for Zainab’s speedy recovery and a return to a healthy, joyful life.
