K-Electric Clears 11kV Feeders of Electricity Theft, Ending Load Shedding in Quetta

QUETTA: Quetta Electric Supply Company (K-ESCO) has successfully eliminated electricity theft from the city’s 11kV feeders, significantly reducing load shedding and ensuring uninterrupted power supply to consumers.
Under the direction of the **Federal Ministry of Energy (Power Division)**, K-ESCO launched a **Load Shedding-Free initiative** aimed at improving services and curbing illegal electricity usage across the province. The program focuses on removing illegal connections and securing feeders from power theft.
As a result of these measures, electricity supply has stabilized across multiple areas of the city. K-ESCO has also introduced a **WhatsApp-based complaint system**, allowing consumers to report issues along with their electricity bill, CNIC copy, and active mobile number to **0319-8088439** for prompt resolution.
Additionally, the company has streamlined procedures for obtaining new connections, offering both written and online application options to ensure faster installation.
K-ESCO has urged citizens to **avoid illegal electricity use** and actively **report power theft** in their neighborhoods, helping the company provide lawful and consistent electricity supply to all consumers.
