Hidden Passage Discovered Inside Egypt’s Famous Pyramid

ISLAMABAD – Archaeologists have uncovered a secret passageway inside one of Egypt’s iconic pyramids, marking a significant breakthrough in the study of ancient structures.

The discovery was made in the Menkaure Pyramid, the smallest of the three major pyramids in Giza and believed to have been built around 4,550 years ago for Pharaoh Menkaure.

For years, scientists suspected the existence of an additional concealed entrance or internal corridor within the pyramid. Now, a research team has found evidence that may finally confirm this long-held theory.

Using advanced radar and ultrasound technology, experts detected remarkable signals beneath the eastern side of the pyramid. These signals revealed two hollow spaces below the structure.

Inside these cavities, archaeologists found highly polished stone blocks measuring approximately four meters in height and six meters in width.

Similar stones have previously been observed only at the main northern entrance of the pyramid, further supporting the idea that the newly detected chambers may be part of a hidden access route.

The discovery is expected to open new avenues for archaeological research into the construction techniques and burial practices of ancient Egypt.
