Salman Akram Raja Says “No Place for Decency, Constitution, or Law in Country Today

ISLAMABAD – PTI leader Salman Akram Raja has called for action, stating that today there is no place for decency, the Constitution, or the law in Pakistan.

He spoke at a general house meeting organized by the Lahore High Court Bar to protest the 27th constitutional amendment and to honor resigning judges. The session was presided over by Lahore High Court Bar President Malik Asif Niswana and attended by prominent lawyers, including Mushar Rehman Chaudhry and Salman Akram Raja.

Addressing the gathering, Raja emphasized that citizens must raise their voices against the ongoing denial of public rights. He criticized recent political developments, including the trial of civilians in military courts, and accused the constitutional bench of unfairly reallocating seats meant for PTI to other parties.

Raja reflected on past struggles, recalling 2007 when the party faced severe restrictions but overcame them through determination. He concluded by urging Pakistanis to stand up, warning that there is no alternative, as decency, the Constitution, and law are currently sidelined in the country.
