Mobile Internet Shutdown in Quetta Extended for Two More Days

QUETTA: The suspension of mobile internet data services in Quetta has been extended for an additional two days, officials confirmed on Monday.
According to Balochistan’s Additional Chief Secretary (Home), Hamza Shafqaat, mobile internet services will now remain suspended until **18 November** due to prevailing security concerns.
He stated that the decision to prolong the outage was made after reviewing the current security situation, adding that a further extension in the shutdown is also possible if needed.
Meanwhile, the continued suspension of internet services has caused significant inconvenience to residents, affecting daily communication, online work, and business activities across the city.
