KP CM Ali Amin Gandapur Files Petition in Supreme Court for Meeting with PTI Founder

Islamabad: Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, has filed a petition in the Supreme Court requesting permission to meet with the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Ali Amin Gandapur, along with Advocate Latif Khosa and Advocate General Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Faisal, appeared before Justice Mansoor Ali Shah in court.
During the proceedings, Advocate Latif Khosa argued that an urgent issue had arisen, as the budget session of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly was ongoing, and the request for a meeting with PTI’s founder needed immediate consideration.
In response, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah remarked that the judicial side could not take action on the matter.
Advocate Khosa then requested Justice Mansoor Ali Shah’s support, suggesting that the matter could be referred to Chief Justice Yahya Afridi.
Justice Mansoor Ali Shah advised them to approach the Chief Justice or the Supreme Court Registrar, as that would be the most efficient course of action.
Ali Amin Gandapur took the rostrum and stated that the budget approval process was underway in the Assembly, and the party leader’s vision was crucial. Despite repeated requests, the PTI founder had not been allowed a meeting.
He further explained that the PTI Budget Committee would meet with the PTI founder, and that the latter had previously written a letter to the Supreme Court. He noted that Chief Justice Yahya Afridi had given positive remarks on the letter.
Ali Amin Gandapur also mentioned that the PTI founder had attached evidence with the letter, but no action had been taken on it.
Justice Mansoor Ali Shah concluded by advising them to contact Chief Justice Yahya Afridi, who was currently in Lahore.
