Kasur: Armed Men Loot House, Abduct Young Woman in Sarai Mughal

Kasur:In Sarai Mughal, five armed suspects allegedly broke into a citizen’s house, looted gold jewellery and cash, and abducted a young woman, police said on Monday. A case has been registered naming Iftikhar, Muhammad Raza, and three unidentified accomplices.

According to police, the incident occurred late last night, spreading fear and panic in the area. The FIR states that the suspects first attempted to break the lock of a vehicle outside the house. After failing, they forcibly entered the residence.

Once inside, the armed men demanded the key to a carry van. Upon refusal, the family members were brutally beaten. The report further notes that the suspects threatened to kill the victims and even pointed guns at them during the ordeal.

During the robbery, the assailants took away five tolas of gold jewellery and Rs280,000 in cash. While fleeing, the suspects also abducted the family’s young daughter.

Police say all angles of the incident are being investigated. Special teams have been formed to recover the abducted girl and arrest the suspects.
