Karachi Police Clarifies Social Media Rumors Regarding E-Challan Payments
Karachi: Karachi Traffic Police has issued a clarification regarding misleading messages circulating on social media about e-challan payments.
According to the spokesperson, fake messages are being spread through social media platforms, WhatsApp, and other online channels. The spokesperson stressed that the only authentic method for paying traffic challans is through the PSID system.
Citizens have been advised to immediately reject all unverified payment methods, avoid clicking on unknown or suspicious links, and report misleading messages. The spokesperson further stated that official messages from Sindh Police are issued only under the name “Sindh Police.”
Any message received from a private name or personal number claiming to represent Sindh Police should be considered fake, the spokesperson added.
