Bollywood Actor Govinda Hospitalized After Late-Night Fall at Home; Condition Reported Stable

Mumbai:Veteran Bollywood actor *Govinda* was hospitalized late Tuesday night after reportedly falling at his residence. According to his lawyer and close friend *Lalit Bandel*, the actor had been feeling physically weak for some time and appeared somewhat disoriented before being taken to the hospital.
Bandel told Indian media that all essential medical tests have been completed, and doctors are now awaiting the results along with the neurologist’s assessment. He confirmed that *Govinda’s condition is currently stable*.
Medical sources also verified that the actor’s initial examination showed no additional complications, and the next steps in treatment will be determined after consultation with a neurologist.
This incident comes nearly a year after *Govinda accidentally shot himself in the leg* while handling his licensed revolver in October last year. The accident occurred as he was preparing to leave for a show in Kolkata.
Recalling that event, Govinda had said, *“I was leaving for the show around 5 a.m. when the gun accidentally fired, injuring my leg.”*
Fans and colleagues across the film industry have expressed relief over reports of his stable condition and wished him a speedy recovery.
