Islamabad: Following the approval of the **27th Constitutional Amendment**, **PTI Senator Saifullah Abro** submitted his resignation in the Senate, creating a stir in political circles.

During his address, Abro stated that he **voted in favor of the amendment out of respect for Field Marshal and the Pakistan Armed Forces**, adding, *“I voted for the 27th Amendment because of General Asim Munir.”*

Responding to the resignation, **Senate Chairman Yousaf Raza Gillani** remarked, *“We will reappoint you as a senator.”*
