Justice Mansoor Ali Shah Writes to CJP: No Constitutional Amendment Possible Without Consulting Judges of Constitutional Courts

Islamabad: Supreme Court Judge **Justice Mansoor Ali Shah** has written another letter to **Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Yahya Afridi**, urging him to immediately engage with the executive regarding the recent constitutional developments.
In his letter, Justice Shah emphasized that **no constitutional amendment can be implemented without prior consultation with the judges of the constitutional courts**. He further suggested that, if necessary, **a convention of judges from the constitutional courts** could be convened to deliberate on the matter.
Justice Mansoor Ali Shah wrote that the **Chief Justice is not only the administrator but also the guardian of the institution**, and that the current situation demands **strong and decisive leadership** from him to uphold judicial independence and institutional integrity.
