Warrant Issued for Sardar Tanveer Ilyas in Diplomatic Passport Case

Islamabad: The District and Sessions Courts Islamabad have issued arrest warrants for former Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, Sardar Tanveer Ilyas, in connection with the diplomatic passport case.

The court has ordered that Sardar Tanveer Ilyas be arrested and presented before it. Judicial Magistrate Ahmed Shehzad Gondal presided over the hearing.

Sardar Tanveer Ilyas had filed a request for exemption from personal appearance, which the court rejected. The hearing of the case has been adjourned until November 24.

An FIR has been registered against Sardar Tanveer Ilyas by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in this matter.
