Court Grants PTI Counsel More Time for Cross-Examination in PM Shehbaz Sharif’s Defamation Case

LAHORE:A Lahore Sessions Court has granted additional time to **Imran Khan’s counsel** for cross-examining a witness in the **defamation suit filed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif** against the PTI founder.
The written order was issued by **Judge Yilmaz Ghani**, who is presiding over the case related to **Shehbaz Sharif’s Rs 10 billion defamation claim** against Imran Khan.
According to the court order, **Shehbaz Sharif’s witness, Attaullah Tarar**, appeared before the court and recorded his statement. The judge noted that the **request by Imran Khan’s lawyer for more time to conduct the cross-examination** was accepted.
The court further directed that **Attaullah Tarar** will now appear again on **November 15** for cross-examination.
It may be recalled that **Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif** had filed the **Rs 10 billion defamation suit** against **Imran Khan**, alleging that the PTI leader made baseless corruption accusations against him.
