Water Tanker Crushes Motorcyclist to Death in Baldia, Karachi; Driver Flees Scene

KARACHI — Another tragic road accident occurred in the city as a speeding water tanker claimed the life of a young motorcyclist in Baldia Town.

According to *Express News*, the incident took place near Jamia Farooqia Seminary at Baldia Laki Chadhai, where a water tanker fatally hit a motorcyclist. Police and rescue teams reached the spot immediately after receiving the report.

Volunteers from the Chhipa Welfare Association shifted the body to Civil Hospital Karachi. Chhipa officials confirmed that the deceased was riding a motorcycle when he was struck by the tanker. His identity could not be immediately ascertained, though he is believed to be around 28 to 30 years old.

Station House Officer (SHO) Mochko, Faisal Latif, stated that the tanker driver fled the scene, abandoning the vehicle. Police have seized both the water tanker and the victim’s motorcycle, and a search for the absconding driver is underway. Authorities are continuing further investigation into the incident.
