National Party Expresses Concern Over Low Gas Pressure in Quetta, Urges Immediate Action in Meeting with SSGC Officials

*Quetta (Daily Qudrat)* — A delegation of the **National Party**, led by Member of the Balochistan Assembly **Kalsoom Niaz Baloch**, met with the General Manager of the **Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC)** to discuss the severe issues of low gas pressure and unannounced load-shedding in Quetta and its surrounding areas.

The delegation included National Party spokesperson **Ali Ahmed Lango**, **Niaz Baloch**, and **Salma Qureshi**. The members expressed deep concern over the persistent gas shortage in areas such as **Killi Almo, Killi Ismail, Killi Shabo, and Barat Sariab**, noting that the reduction in gas supply at the very start of winter has created serious hardships for residents.

They highlighted that women, children, and the elderly are suffering in the harsh cold, while gas supply is completely shut off after 10 p.m., calling the situation “unjust and unacceptable.”

The delegation emphasized that consistent gas supply is a **basic necessity** for a cold region like Quetta and held the government and relevant authorities responsible for addressing the issue urgently.

Responding to the concerns, the **General Manager of SSGC** assured the delegation that immediate measures would be taken to improve gas pressure and ensure uninterrupted supply to the affected areas.

The National Party representatives expressed hope that the SSGC administration would fulfill its commitments promptly so that the people could be relieved of the ongoing difficulties.
