Balochistan CM Sarfraz Bugti Expresses Anger Over Lack of Provincial Representation in PTV Board
Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has expressed strong resentment over the absence of Balochistan’s representation on the board of Pakistan Television (PTV).
In a statement, the Chief Minister said it was regrettable that “the country’s largest and most resourceful province by area has no representation in the PTV board.”
He questioned, “Are the people of Balochistan lesser creations of God?”
Bugti asserted that representation in national institutions is not a favor but a constitutional right of the people of Balochistan.
Posting his reaction on the social media platform *X* (formerly Twitter), the Chief Minister said that the exclusion of Balochistan from the PTV board was “unacceptable and unjustified.”
He urged the federal government to ensure fair representation of Balochistan in national bodies so that the province’s talented individuals can play their rightful role at the national level.
