Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind Expresses Deep Concern Over Balochistan Situation, Urges Government to Make Wise Decisions

Dera Allah Yar:Senior politician and former federal minister **Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind** has warned that the situation in **Balochistan** has become so serious that “no tribal leader or Nawab, including myself, can control it anymore.” Speaking to reporters after offering condolences at the residence of **Haji Mir Karim Bakhsh Khan Behrani**, Rind said that the provincial government must take **far-sighted and responsible decisions** to address the ongoing crisis.

He emphasized that the **Baloch issue** can only be resolved by **treating the Baloch people with dignity and respect**, stating that “through respect, one can achieve everything from them.”

Expressing regret over the imprisonment of activists including **Mahrang Baloch**, he said that the government’s decision to detain such individuals reflects a **misguided and shortsighted policy**. “Those sitting in the provincial government seem unaware of Balochistan’s history, and their decisions will be remembered as part of the province’s darkest era,” he added.

Rind stated that the current state of affairs in Balochistan is deeply troubling and that **those advising the rulers are misleading them**. He further remarked, “Even a shepherd in Balochistan could explain the solution to the Baloch problem if asked — I am astonished why the rulers are failing to understand.”

In response to a question, he suggested that **retired army generals** who are loyal to both **Balochistan and Pakistan** should be engaged in the process of finding solutions. “If such individuals are given authority and responsibility, the situation could still improve,” Rind concluded.
