Mega Corruption Exposed in Jhalawan Complex Khuzdar; Illegal Construction Continues Despite Canceled NOC

**Khuzdar (Qudrat Daily):** A major corruption scandal has surfaced in Khuzdar’s Jhalawan Complex, where illegal construction is reportedly underway despite the cancellation of the No Objection Certificate (NOC).
According to reliable sources, a valuable piece of land under the jurisdiction of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has allegedly been illegally allotted and developed for the construction of a petrol pump. The revelations indicate large-scale irregularities involving prime government land.
Initially, the land was allocated for limited temporary use; however, it was later used unlawfully for housing schemes and the construction of multi-story commercial buildings. Shockingly, the land originally designated for a petrol pump has now been converted into a site for hundreds of shops, contrary to the approved layout plan.
Sources further revealed that the NOC for the said land had already been revoked, yet construction continues unabated. Despite multiple public complaints, neither the Anti-Corruption Department nor the Deputy Commissioner of Khuzdar has taken any action.
Social and civil society groups have urged the Government of Balochistan, the Local Government Department, the Chief Minister, the Chief Secretary, and the Director General of Anti-Corruption to take immediate notice of the situation, conduct transparent investigations into the illegal allotment, and bring those responsible to justice.
