Balochistan Government Forms Committee to Oversee Digital Library and Information Gateway

**Quetta (Qudrat Daily):**
The **Government of Balochistan’s Planning and Development Department (Admin Wing)** has established a committee to manage the operations of the **Digital Library and Information Gateway (DLIG)**. The committee’s formation was approved by the **Additional Chief Secretary (Development)**.

According to the official notification, the committee comprises the **Secretary Planning**, **Chief of Section (F.Aid)**, **Director Bureau of Statistics Balochistan**, **System Analyst Allam Yar and Zia-ul-Haq**, and **Assistant System Analyst Muhammad Haris**. The **convener** will also serve as the **super administrator** of the system.

The committee’s responsibilities include ensuring the **efficient management of the digital library**, **regular uploading of reports and policies**, providing **controlled access to government departments and institutions**, maintaining the **smooth operation of the DLIG portal and dashboard**, resolving **hardware-related issues**, and overseeing **system upgrades** as required.
