BPSC System Paralyzed Due to Lack of Chairman: Thousands of Youth Face Uncertain Future

Candidates Give 10-Day Ultimatum to Government — Threaten to Lock Down Commission Office

**Quetta (Daily Qudrat):** The **candidates of the Balochistan Public Service Commission (BPSC)** have expressed deep concern over the **three-month-long vacancy of the Chairman’s post**, declaring that the institution has become **paralyzed and non-functional**.

Addressing a press conference, **candidate representative Najeebullah** said that the youth of Balochistan are pinning their hopes on the BPSC for **employment, merit, and dignity**, but the system’s paralysis has **jeopardized their futures**. He stated that with no chairman in office, the **entire recruitment process, including exams and interviews**, has come to a halt, leaving thousands of qualified youth in limbo.

Another candidate, **Gulzar Baloch**, revealed that due to the administrative vacuum, **job advertisements have been stopped** and **results are being withheld** even after evaluation. He warned that many candidates are now **crossing the upper age limit** because of the delays.

The candidates criticized the **Balochistan government’s inaction**, accusing it of focusing only on contracts and tenders instead of addressing the youth’s employment crisis. They demanded that the **BPSC be immediately revived** through the **appointment of a new Chairman** on a **transparent and merit-based basis**.

Najeebullah issued a **10-day ultimatum** to the provincial government, warning that if their demands were not met, the candidates would **lock down the BPSC office** and stage a **sit-in protest outside the Balochistan Assembly**.
