KP Chief Minister Meets Mahmood Khan Achakzai: Consultations Held on National Issues and Military Operations

**Islamabad (Daily Qudrat):** Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister **Sohail Khan Afridi** held an important meeting with **Mahmood Khan Achakzai**, head of the Tehreek Tahafuz-e-Aeen Pakistan (Movement for the Protection of the Constitution of Pakistan), at his residence, where both leaders discussed key **national and political issues**.

The meeting was also attended by **Senator Allama Nasir Abbas** (nominated opposition leader in the Senate), **PTI’s provincial president Junaid Akbar**, MNAs **Atif Khan, Ali Asghar Khan, Dr. Amjad, Arbab Sher Ali**, **Akhonzada Hussain Ahmed Yousafzai**, and **PTI founding member’s counsel Khalid Yousaf Chaudhry**.

During the discussion, both leaders **expressed serious concerns over ongoing military operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa** and the challenges faced by local communities. They also discussed the proposed **27th Constitutional Amendment**, emphasizing its potential impact on **provincial autonomy**.

The issue of **NFC Award allocations for the former FATA region** was also raised, with participants noting that the **promised additional share had not yet been fulfilled**. It was agreed that any further tampering with the NFC Award would be detrimental to **national unity**.

Chief Minister Sohail Afridi also discussed **peace efforts in Kurram District** and extended an invitation for joint consultation on the upcoming **Peace Jirga in Peshawar**.

Mahmood Khan Achakzai and the Tehreek Tahafuz-e-Aeen Pakistan reaffirmed their **full support for the KP government’s struggle to secure the province’s constitutional rights**, vowing to work together for democratic and constitutional supremacy in Pakistan.
