Cement Prices Record Slight Decline Across Pakistan

Cement prices across Pakistan have witnessed a **slight decrease**, according to the latest data released by the **Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS)**.
The report shows that in **northern cities**, the **average retail price per 50-kg bag** of cement stood at **Rs1,364**, marking a **0.35% decrease** compared to **Rs1,369** recorded the previous week.
In contrast, **southern cities** recorded **no change**, with the average price remaining stable at **Rs1,441 per bag** for the week ending **October 30**.
City-wise data reveals the following average retail prices per bag:
* **Islamabad:** Rs1,345
* **Rawalpindi:** Rs1,346
* **Gujranwala:** Rs1,400
* **Sialkot:** Rs1,350
* **Lahore:** Rs1,406
* **Faisalabad:** Rs1,380
* **Sargodha:** Rs1,360
* **Multan:** Rs1,378
* **Bahawalpur:** Rs1,407
* **Peshawar:** Rs1,334
* **Bannu:** Rs1,300
In the southern region, the prices stood as follows:
* **Karachi:** Rs1,369
* **Hyderabad:** Rs1,427
* **Sukkur:** Rs1,500
* **Larkana:** Rs1,407
* **Quetta:** Rs1,500
* **Khuzdar:** Rs1,443
Overall, the data indicates **stable cement prices with minor week-to-week variations**, reflecting steady supply conditions in the construction materials market.
