Pakistan Has Not Allowed U.S. to Use Its Soil for Strikes in Afghanistan: DG ISPR
TTP Has Pledged Allegiance to Afghan Taliban Leader, Says Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry

Islamabad: Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (**DG ISPR**) **Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry** has said that **Pakistan has not permitted the United States to use its territory for attacks inside Afghanistan**, emphasizing that such claims are part of **Afghan propaganda**.
Briefing journalists in Islamabad, Lt. Gen. Chaudhry revealed that during the recent **Pakistan-Afghanistan border tensions**, **206 Afghan Taliban militants** and **112 members of the Kharijite faction** were killed. He stated that the **Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP)** has **pledged allegiance to the leader of the Afghan Taliban**, effectively making it a **branch of the Afghan Taliban**.
The DG ISPR warned that **India appears to be preparing another false-flag operation in deep waters**, adding:
> “India may do whatever it wants on land, air, or sea — but it must know this time our response will be even stronger than before.”
He further disclosed that **over 62,000 security operations** were conducted this year, in which **582 Pakistani soldiers were martyred**. He noted that **poppy cultivation** continues under **political patronage**, and that most counterterrorism operations took place in **Balochistan**.
Lt. Gen. Chaudhry reiterated that **Pakistan’s sole agenda with Afghanistan** is to ensure that **Afghan soil is not used against Pakistan**. He said **128 of the slain terrorists** were Afghan nationals and described **Pakistan’s response to recent tensions** as “swift and timely.”
He added that **Doha and Istanbul talks** were held with a **single-point agenda**—the **elimination of cross-border terrorism**—and that **poppy fields in the Tirah Valley** are being destroyed as part of Pakistan’s broader counter-narcotics and security campaign.
