Terrorist Involved in PTI and ANP Leaders’ Assassinations Killed in Bajaur Operation

Bajaur: Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the **Kausar area of Bajaur**, killing a **wanted terrorist** involved in the assassination of **Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)** and **Awami National Party (ANP)** leaders.
According to security sources, the slain militant, identified as **Ziauddin alias Ibrahim Idrees**, was responsible for **multiple high-profile target killings**. He was directly involved in the murders of **PTI leader Rehan Zeb**, **ANP’s Maulana Khan Zeb**, the **Deputy Commissioner of Nawagai**, and several members of **Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI)**.
The sources added that **Ziauddin** had also killed several police personnel. He was previously **imprisoned in Afghanistan** before the Taliban’s takeover of Kabul, after which he was **released by the new regime**.
The terrorist **infiltrated into Pakistan from Afghanistan in 2023**, where he rejoined militant networks. Security officials stated that his death marks a **major setback for the Islamic State Khorasan (IS-K)** network operating in the region.
