Government Increases Petrol and Diesel Prices for Next 15 Days

ISLAMABAD:The government of Pakistan has announced a **fresh hike in petroleum product prices** for the next 15 days. According to the **Ministry of Finance**, the price of **petrol has been increased by Rs. 2.43 per litre**, while **high-speed diesel** has been raised by **Rs. 3.02 per litre**.
As per the official notification, the **new price of petrol** will now be **Rs. 265.45 per litre**, and **diesel** will be sold at **Rs. 278.44 per litre**.
The revised prices took effect **from midnight tonight (12:00 AM)** and will remain in force until the next fortnightly review.
