Quality Education Key to Achieving Future Goals and Priorities: Governor Balochistan

**Quetta (Qudrat News)** — Governor Balochistan **Jafar Khan Mandokhail** has praised the **University of Turbat** for its significant contributions to promoting quality education and gender equality in the province’s remote regions, noting that the university has set a remarkable example by increasing female student enrollment to **45 percent**.

He expressed these views during a meeting with **Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Gul Hassan** at the Governor House in Quetta. The governor directed the university administration to **hold its third convocation soon**, emphasizing that **quality education plays a fundamental role in achieving future goals and priorities**.

Governor Mandokhail commended the dedication and hard work of the students of the University of Turbat, saying they are excelling academically despite limited resources and challenging conditions. He credited the institution’s progress to the **visionary leadership and tireless efforts of Dr. Gul Hassan and his team**.

Highlighting the growing participation of women in higher education, the governor stated that the large number of female students at Turbat University demonstrates that **the women of Balochistan are equally talented and capable**. He stressed the need to provide **equal opportunities and facilities** for women so they can play an active role in the province’s and country’s development.

During the meeting, the governor also discussed the university’s **academic and financial performance, future plans, and upcoming initiatives**. He instructed the administration to focus on **skill development programs, artificial intelligence, modern technology, and market-oriented education** to better prepare graduates for professional success.

Governor Mandokhail also urged the alignment of **research activities with the socio-economic needs of the country**, ensuring that higher education contributes effectively to national progress.
