Baloch Women Playing a Vital Role in National Development Through Hard Work, Determination, and Talent: IG FC

**Kech:** Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan South organized a seminar in Kech titled *“The Role of Baloch Women in Social Development”*, highlighting the significant contributions of Baloch women to social progress and regional development.

The event was attended by Provincial Minister for Planning and Development Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi, former Provincial Minister Mir Aslam Buledi, members of the Balochistan Assembly, local political leaders, civil administration officials, representatives of security agencies, teachers, doctors, intellectuals, and nearly 200 women.

The seminar’s panel included Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch, Provincial Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Meena Majeed, former MPA Mrs. Mahjabeen Sheeran, and Professor Dr. Shahida Habib. The speakers praised the vital role played by Baloch women across diverse sectors, including education, healthcare, bureaucracy, politics, and administration.

Inspector General FC Balochistan (South), Major General Bilal Sarfraz, emphasized in his address that societal progress is an evolutionary process in which women play a pivotal role. He stated that Baloch women, through their dedication, determination, and capability, are actively contributing to national development. He further urged women to participate in the development process while preserving their cultural and moral values.

At the conclusion of the seminar, participants resolved to further empower Baloch women by ensuring equal opportunities in education, employment, and leadership, thereby strengthening their role in the province’s progress and stability.
