KP Chief Minister Announces Contempt of Court Petition Over Denial of Meeting with Imran Khan

*Rawalpindi (Qudrat Daily)* — Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister **Sohail Afridi** has announced plans to **file a contempt of court petition** after being **denied a meeting with PTI founder Imran Khan**.

Speaking to reporters at **Dahgal checkpoint**, Afridi said, *“We are filing a contempt petition because the orders of three judges have been violated. Our leader’s cases are not being heard in the Supreme Court. We urge the judiciary to uphold the supremacy of the Constitution — our lawyers stand with you.”*

The chief minister alleged that **justice is not being served in Pakistan**, claiming that *“decisions are being made under influence.”* He added that *“the day justice prevails, Imran Khan will walk free. Even judges have written letters admitting interference in their decisions.”* Afridi urged the judiciary to **reveal the names of those interfering** in judicial matters.

Afridi further stated that **his inability to meet Imran Khan does not mean he isn’t receiving messages** from the party founder. When asked by a journalist why his cabinet has not yet been formed if communication continues, Afridi replied, *“The real question is — why am I being prevented from meeting my leader when I hold the people’s mandate?”*

Meanwhile, during Afridi’s return, a **scuffle broke out between a YouTuber and party workers**. The altercation reportedly began when the YouTuber attempted to approach the chief minister and film his vehicle. PTI workers accused the YouTuber of being **sent by Ali Amin Gandapur** and of **receiving money** from him, while others tried to de-escalate the situation.
