Saudi Arabia and Pakistan Enter a New Era of Economic Cooperation — Joint Declaration Issued After PM Shehbaz Sharif’s Meeting with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman

*Riyadh (Qudrat Daily)* — **Saudi Arabia and Pakistan** have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and launching a **new phase of economic, trade, and energy cooperation**. The announcement came following a high-level meeting between **Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman** and **Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif** in **Riyadh on October 27, 2025**.

According to the **joint declaration**, both sides have initiated an **Economic Cooperation Framework** aimed at promoting **long-term economic partnership**, enhancing **trade and investment opportunities**, and implementing **joint development projects**.

The two countries agreed to collaborate in key sectors including **energy, industry, minerals, information technology, tourism, agriculture, and food security**. It was also decided to sign two **Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs)** — one for an **Electricity Interconnection Project** and another for **cooperation in the energy sector**.

The declaration stated that this partnership will further **strengthen the brotherly ties** between the two nations and **open new avenues for sustainable economic growth**.

Both leaders also agreed to **convene the next session of the Saudi-Pakistan Supreme Coordination Council** soon to review progress on ongoing and planned projects.

Government sources described the declaration as a **milestone in redefining Saudi-Pakistan relations**, marking a significant step toward **regional economic stability and mutual prosperity**.
