FIA Balochistan Cracks Down on Hawala, Hundi, and Human Smuggling — Five Suspects Arrested

*Quetta (Qudrat Daily)* — The **Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Balochistan Zone** has arrested **five suspects** involved in **illegal money transfer (Hawala/Hundi)** and **human smuggling** during a series of operations across the province.
According to the FIA spokesperson, one suspect, **Habibullah**, was apprehended for his involvement in Hawala and Hundi transactions. Authorities recovered **mobile phones, illegal currency exchange records, and key evidence** linked to the unlawful financial network. The suspect reportedly **failed to justify the recovered currency** during interrogation.
In a separate operation, FIA teams dismantled a **human smuggling network** and arrested four suspects — **Salahuddin, Muhammad Deen, Mehmood Khan, and Muhammad Haroon**. The group was allegedly facilitating **illegal border crossings of Afghan nationals into Iran**.
The FIA spokesperson said further investigations are underway, and more arrests are expected as part of the ongoing crackdown against **financial crimes and human trafficking networks** in Balochistan.
