US Vice President JD Vance Arrives in Islamabad for High-Level Iran Ceasefire Talks

U.S. Vice President JD Vance has arrived in Islamabad leading a high-level delegation for talks aimed at a comprehensive ceasefire agreement with Iran.
According to reports, the delegation also includes Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, who accompanied the vice president on the visit.
The aircraft reportedly took an extended and indirect route to Pakistan, avoiding certain regional airspaces and making a brief stopover in Paris for approximately two and a half hours before continuing its journey.
It is further reported that the flight route included passage through several countries’ airspaces before entering Pakistan near Chitral at around 10:00 a.m. The aircraft was received with protocol arrangements by the Pakistan Air Force before landing at Nur Khan Air Base at approximately 10:33 a.m.
The visit is linked to ongoing diplomatic efforts involving Iran and the United States, with Islamabad serving as the host location for the high-level negotiations.
