PML-N Will Not Be Part of Government Formation in Azad Kashmir: Raja Farooq Haider

Lahore: Senior Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Raja Farooq Haider Khan, has announced that his party will not take part in the formation of the government in Azad Kashmir.

Speaking to the media, Raja Farooq Haider said the party’s parliamentary group has already decided to sit in the opposition, and there is absolutely no room for any change in this decision. “The parliamentary party meeting has concluded that we will remain in the opposition benches,” he affirmed.

Earlier, President of PML-N Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Shah Ghulam Qadir, stated that the party continues to uphold its founding mission — supporting the Kashmir freedom movement and serving the people of Azad Kashmir, the refugees settled in Pakistan, and the Kashmiri diaspora abroad.

He added that the PML-N in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and among refugees in Pakistan has emerged as a popular and well-organized political force, recognized for its strong ideological stance, political role, and public service.
