Mahira Khan Says She Will Gift Her ‘Dua-e-Khair’ Dress to Her Future Daughter-in-Law

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani superstar **Mahira Khan** has revealed that she plans to pass on her *Dua-e-Khair* (pre-wedding prayer ceremony) dress to her future daughter-in-law.
A clip from Mahira Khan’s recent interview has gone viral on social media, in which the actress spoke about her wedding festivities and the sentimental value of her outfits.
Mahira shared that, *“My wedding festivities began with a Dua-e-Khair ceremony. It was my mother’s wish to start the celebrations with prayers. The renowned poet Zehra Nigah led the dua at our home.”*
Describing the special occasion, Mahira said, *“The entire event was arranged at home, and it remains a beautiful memory for me. My outfit for the ceremony was designed by Umar Sayeed in a traditional Hyderabadi style. I wore minimal makeup, light jewelry, and floral accessories, with my hair tied in a braid.”*
The **“Raees”** star added, *“This dress is very dear to me. I plan to give it to my future daughter-in-law and will tell her to take care of it because it was made with a lot of love and emotion.”*
It is worth mentioning that **Mahira Khan** tied the knot for the second time in **October 2023** with businessman **Salim Karim**. She has a son, **Azlan**, from her first marriage.
