Earthquake Tremors Felt in Afghanistan; Magnitude Recorded at 5.1

KABUL: Strong earthquake tremors were felt in **Afghanistan’s capital, Kabul**, and several other parts of the country on Wednesday.

According to news agencies, the **earthquake measured 5.1 on the Richter scale**, with its **epicenter located in the Hindu Kush region** at a **depth of 244 kilometers**.

Earlier, tremors were also reported in several cities across **Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Pakistan)**, where the magnitude was recorded at **5.3**.

So far, **no reports of casualties or property damage** have been received.

Rescue authorities have **advised citizens to take precautionary measures** and remain in **safe open areas**, warning of the possibility of **aftershocks** in the affected regions.
