India Denies Returning Body of Pakistani Youth Who Passed Away in Hospital

Chennai: In an act of hostility against Pakistan, India has refused to hand over the body of a Pakistani youth who passed away in a hospital in Chennai, India. The 23-year-old, Syed Aryan Shah, was suffering from heart and lung ailments and had been receiving treatment in India since December 2024.
Aryan Shah’s mother, who is now stranded in India with her son’s body, has appealed to the Pakistani government for assistance. In a video message, she pleaded, “I request the government of Pakistan and the Chief of Army Staff to help me bring my son’s body back to Pakistan.”
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sardar Raisani Baghati, has taken notice of the situation and vowed to provide assistance. Shahid Rand, a spokesperson for the provincial government, confirmed that the government of Balochistan had already covered all medical expenses in the Indian hospital. The provincial government has also been in contact with Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs to ensure the return of Aryan’s body and his family.

The spokesperson also confirmed that all arrangements for the return of Aryan’s body and his family, including air travel costs, are being fully funded by the Balochistan government. The government is in continuous communication with the family and is providing them with all necessary assistance.
