Imran Khan Expresses Deep Grief Over the Passing of Ex-Wife Jemima Khan’s Mother, Lady Annabel Goldsmith

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former Prime Minister **Imran Khan** has expressed profound sorrow over the death of his former wife **Jemima Khan’s mother, Lady Annabel Goldsmith**.

In a message conveyed from **Adiala Jail** and shared on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, Imran Khan said,

> “I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Lady Annabel Goldsmith. My family informed me of this tragic news today while I am in jail.”

The PTI founder paid heartfelt tribute to Lady Annabel, describing her as **a loving grandmother to his sons, a kind and compassionate human being**, and someone who had a special place in his life.

> “During my visits to London, I would stay at her home with my sons. After my mother’s passing in 1985, Lady Annabel became like a mother to me,” he said.

Imran Khan added that **Lady Annabel’s death is a great loss**, extending his condolences to all her children and grandchildren.

> “We will all miss her deeply. Had I not been in jail, I would have attended her funeral with my sons, Sulaiman and Qasim,” he concluded.
