Pakistan to Launch Special Visa Program to Attract Foreign Investment

ISLAMABAD: The Government of Pakistan has decided to introduce a special visa program aimed at attracting foreign investment into the country, sources in the Ministry of Interior revealed.
According to the sources, under the new policy, foreign nationals interested in doing business in Pakistan will be granted business visas. The proposed framework includes the issuance of multiple-entry business visas to facilitate long-term investment and trade activities.
The sources further stated that Afghan nationals conducting business in Pakistan will also be eligible to obtain business visas under this new scheme, enabling them to formally operate within the country’s legal and financial framework.
The move is part of the government’s broader strategy to encourage cross-border commerce, simplify investment procedures, and improve Pakistan’s image as a business-friendly destination.
