Pakistan and Saudi Arabia Sign Two Key MoUs on IT Education and Sports Cooperation

KARACHI: Pakistan and Saudi Arabia signed **two significant Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs)** aimed at promoting **IT education and sports collaboration**, in a ceremony attended by **Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori** and **Saudi Prince Mansour bin Mohammed Al Saud**.

The agreements mark the beginning of a **new era of cooperation** between the two brotherly nations in the fields of **youth development, technology advancement, and sports promotion**.

The signing ceremony was attended by **Saudi Ambassador Nawaf Saeed Al-Malki**, **Saudi Consul General in Karachi Mohammed Abdullah Al-Subaie**, **Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ahmed Farooq**, members of the Saudi delegation, and prominent figures from various sectors.

Under the MoUs, both countries will collaborate to provide **modern IT education, joint training programs, youth exchange initiatives**, and **sports competitions** to create new opportunities for young people.

Speaking at the ceremony, Governor Sindh **Kamran Khan Tessori** said that relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are **historic, brotherly, and rooted in mutual respect and public affection**. He emphasized that cooperation in **IT and sports** will help **enhance the skills of young people** and **strengthen bilateral ties** further.

Governor Tessori also announced plans to organize a **friendly cricket match** between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, which, he said, would foster **people-to-people connections** between the two nations.

He added that Pakistani youth are already proving their potential worldwide, and providing them with **modern education, training, and facilities** is among the government’s **top priorities**. “Education, technology, and sports are the guarantees of a bright future,” he remarked, highlighting his office’s initiatives to equip youth with **21st-century skills** so they can contribute effectively to national progress.

Prince **Mansour bin Mohammed Al Saud** praised Governor Tessori’s efforts for youth empowerment and acknowledged the **immense talent of Pakistani youth**, saying that creating more opportunities will further **deepen bilateral relations**. He also expressed Saudi Arabia’s desire to **expand cooperation with Pakistan** in the areas of **education, technology, and sports**.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, representatives from both countries expressed optimism that the MoUs would **open new avenues for youth development** and usher in a **stronger phase of partnership** between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
