Imran Khan Removes Ali Amin Gandapur as KP Chief Minister, Nominates Suhail Afridi as Replacement

Rawalpindi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General Salman Akram Raja has confirmed the removal of Ali Amin Gandapur from the post of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister.
Speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail, Raja stated that PTI founder Imran Khan has directed the dismissal of Ali Amin Gandapur and nominated young MPA Suhail Afridi as the new Chief Minister.
According to Salman Akram Raja, Imran Khan expressed deep sorrow over the recent major attack on security forces in KP and held Ali Amin Gandapur responsible for the deteriorating situation.
He added that Imran Khan believes the law and order situation in the province has worsened to an uncontrollable level, making it necessary to remove Ali Amin Gandapur from his position.
